Not a miracle on ice baby...
For the past 30 years both my parents and sister have thought and believed that my sister was a miracle child born on the night of the "miracle on ice" the game in which the US beat the Soviet Union in the Olympics. My parents even have joked that they were going to name her Victoria after the victory that the US had. 30 years later I did a little research and have rained on my sister's parade by telling her that she wasn't born the night of the "miracle on ice". As it turns out the miracle game was on the 22nd of February and was where the US beat the Soviet Union. The 24th of February (Nance's birthday) was the day that the US beat Finland in Lake Placid to win the gold medal. So on this 24th day of February, a very happy 30th birthday to my sister not the miracle baby but rather the golden baby. I love you and thanks for an amazing adventure in Vancouver for the Olympics.
